I like the police siren, so I went for custom. I like number one of the standard ones though.

I can use 5th and 6th and reverse but 1 to 4 don't do anything in LFS.
They work fine in other sims but not LFS.

My shifter doesn't work properly, LFS only recognises 4th, 5th and reverse.
It works fine in GTR2 and GTL and netKar pro.

I still have the .raw file in the snd folder, but the sound folder contains .wav files. It seems that the sound folder is used now instead of the snd folder.

You can remap your buttons with the profiler if you have a Logitech wheel.

Here's the .wav file I converted, it works for me.

I use a DFP at the moment but I have just ordered a G25.
On both wheels you can adjust the amount of rotation and both give you a choice of F1 type paddles or a gear stick (you can use whichever you prefer).
If you can afford a G25, get one. If money is a little less plentiful, go for the DFP.

I'm 46, I'll be 47 next January.

I have, and still do, run a GTR server. More GTR2 now though.
I have run servers for LFS, GTR, GTR2, rFactor, GTL and netKar, and I have driven on all of them.
Each sim has good points and bad points as you would expect.
Sometimes I'll drive some laps on netKar, decide to try a few online races in LFS, Wednesdays and Sundays it's GTR 2 with the ERG.
Comparing sims is non-productive in my opinion because I like them all and I'll use them all, depending on what I feel like racing. Each has good points and bad points but it's all relative to personal taste in my experience.

Congratulations Lake, and I think I can speak for the whole of the ERG in wishing you all the best for the next 2000 wins.:wow:

GTR 2 is rated and it's not released yet.

I have 4 teeth still intact, and I have very strong gums
But after some thought, I think it would give me an unfair advantage as I would have easier ingress for the JCs compared to other contenders,
and it would mean that my mouth had been modified

Is it cheating if I remove my teeth?
